Stopover when returning from the Dordogne

Hi

We are travelling to Sarlat (Soleil Plage) and are looking for a stopover on the return leg. We have stayed at Camping Des 4 Vents before, but they have no availability for 5th August. We have a twin axle, and are flexible on our route, other than central
Paris. Thanks for any suggestions.

Peter

The website What's Halfway suggests that somewhere around Orleans is half way.   There is a campsite at Olivet, which is just south of Orleans, which may suit.

There are plenty of other sites just south of there - if that's the route you are taking (via Limoges, Chateauroux, and then the A10).  Nouan les Fuzelier, Salbris, and others.

We've stopped at the Municipal in Olivet - no problems - small and quiet, free wifi, pizza van, clean toilets and supermarkets etc close by.

We've stayed at Camping de Sologne in Salbris a few times when making the same return journey
