Missing a sticky
For some time there was a sticky about pre-registering passengers prior to Euro Tunnel crossings. I didn't realy read it at the time but because we're crossing next month I thought I'd look at it in more depth nearer the our departure, but it seems to have
dissappeared or been taken down, or did something change?

The Eurotunnel website tells you how to do it - either on line or by telephone. It's called Advance Passenger Information.

You should have received an email telling you how to register your Advance Passenger Information.
If not "Your Confirmation of Password" will have your login details and a link to the site.
Worst case scenario is that you will be held up but are unlikely to miss your train.

It's very simple, just go to the Eurotunnel website and look it up there, tells you all about it and how to do it. I did it last year for both our trips, but believe that it is now possible to store the info for future bookings, rather than having to register
for API each time you travel.0 -
Why all this fuss about pre registering with the tunnel, on both P&O and DFDS you just give them your passper at checkin, its swiped through a reader given back and thats it, 10 seconds.

Morning everyone.
If you book a ferry crossing your passport information is taken at the time of check-in so you do not have to provide it in advance.
If you book with Eurotunnel they require your passport information before you travel.
If you book directly with Eurotunnel you can input your passport information on their website or call 0330 1233207.
If you book Eurotunnel through the Caravan Club or any thrid party you can only provide your passport information over the phone on 0330 1233207.
Members who book Eurotunnel via the the Club are give the above telephone number on their confirmation with instructions to call Eurotunnel.
Hope this helps.
