Sites near Brussels or Leuven

Does anyone have experience of decent sites near Brusssels or Leuven? THE ACSI guide suggest some are pretty awful! Only looking for an overnighter but its always better if tis a decent place...

    Hi One we are going to try in April just off the Brusells ring is Camping Grimbergen  it's on ACSI Main Site (not camping Card )  3*  photo's look ok. Website here

    Thanks Dianne- Grimbergen was the one I too thought might be best. Not going until late May so  look forwards to seeing your April reports!

    Update for anyone wanting a site near Brussels..

    Campng Grimbergen just north of the Brussels Ring Road is a lovely little site, very well maintained, nice fenced grassy pitches and good  toilet block. Added benefit is a range of excellent retaurants in walking distance! Details on web or in ACSI guide.

    Makes a very good overnight stop between Channel Ports and Germany,altjough both Brissels and Leuven are well worth day visits

    Hi, When were you there Jamsdad? We were there night before last Friday and thought like you good one nighter or for visiting Brussels.  ACSI inspected but not Camping Card .

    There a week ago- ACSI inpectors were there are getting very good comments from happy campers. I shall definately go again - great stopover .
