Elec is included, only 4amp but that's enough for me for one night.

Just a quick update.  They have come back to me with a cost of 25 euros for one night end Aug  the same as the June quote given earlier.

we stayed here on the way home last year - great location but not great for anything else, in fact we felt quite unsafe

is it worth considering staying on the Quay?

What was it about the site which made you feel unsafe - and what would be different if you were staying on the quayside?  Others choose to go a little further afield to stay the night - perhaps that might be a solution.

There are several other sites which are near enough for a ferry crossing - people recommend Les Capucines at Ranville, but there are others nearby too.

We have stayed there many times although not last year so wonder what could have changed. The locked gate for one thing would make me feel safer than on a quay,

We've never felt even slightly unsafe and have used the site many times.

Camping Les Capucines at Ranville has been mentioned and is within walking distance of the Pegasus bridge museum.  Well worth a visit if you have time.

We stayed at the site many years ago after crossing from Portsmouth.

I will be doing the reverse crossing in June, and need a site close to Ouistreham for the morning ferry, and wonder if anyone has staye at Les Hautes Coutures?

It was due to some cllientele - a fellow member suggested staying, on the Quay though I have refused (OH has tried to reassure me unsuccessfully) especially as we have children with us)

think I will try another site unless les pommiers improves

Yes and much prefer it to Les Pommiers, it is a Yelloh Village site.  We will either stay there or at the site at Ranville in June for the 8.30 ferry.
