There are a number of vets listed at both these places. Can anyone recommend one please. Not sure yet if we shall stay put Saumur or carry on before we travel home from Le Havre.

thank you

Nobody is answering and I don't have a dog, but I'm told that many people just ask for a vet at campsite reception,  wherever they happen to be within the critical 5 days from the ferry.

I don't know a vet in this area, but I usually Google vets in the area and go from there.  I've also always booked well in advance.  I don't know if you really need to, but I'm not taking any chances.  I wouldn't like to miss the 'window' for treatment on
the way back.  I've already booked out vet in Chalons-en-Champagne for when we come back in August, but that's just me being ultra organised.

Hi ellemae,  we used the vets in Honfleur near the harbour last summer for our dog, prior to returning to the UK.  I'm away in Spain in the MH at the moment and haven't got the details with me, but googling it, I think they were called Santoria Cabinet Veterinaire de l'Estuaire, 10 Rue des Vases, 14600 Honfleur  Tel: +33 2 31 98 82 46

You need to book an appointment at least 24 hours in advance.  If you have a MH, the Honfleur aire is only 500 metres from the vets.

    Hope this helps.  Jim

I don't know if this would work but a Facebook friend of mine had a great experience with  this Vet in Caen last September and highly recommends them:  http://www.cliniqueveterinaireducedre.com/Welcome
