Have a look at the Eurocampings website, where there are 152 campsites listed.

I can't help with recommendations, except to say that we drove past a lot of campsites near Volos on mainland Greece, and thought some of them looked to be in lovely situations.

However, there was a site near where we were staying (on an isolated beach, down a rough track road) and though it was idyllic, I wouldn't have wanted to stay in a caravan or motorhome there.

This website may help - they've travelled widely in Greece MagBaz Travels

How will you get Greece ? by ferry from Ancona would be a good bet or are you driving all the way.

Have been tempted to do it ourselves, but haven't done it (yet?).  On the website of MotorhomeFacts there is a forum for travel which is sub-divided into countries.  The one for Greece is >HERE<  Could be some interesting reading there.

We towed a caravan to Greece in 2008, overland through Romania and Bulgaria. Believe it or not that was our first caravan trip! You can read of our travels here.
We met Margaret and Barry of MagBaz Travels in Bulgaria.  A lovely and very helpful couple.  I would certainly recommend their website.

The joy of being in Greece with caravan or motorhome is the frreedom to get to the areas beyond the usual tourist hotspots, but the must seesif you are mobile, are Meteora, Pelion and the Peloponnese.

The only advice I would give is enjoy the hospitality of these lovely people.  What a great trip you have in mind.  Envious - maybe next year?
