Hi everyone

We are booked on a holiday rally in Lemgo,Germany June 2016. We are planning for the first week to have a couple of stops along the route from Rotterdam to Lemgo. This is our first visit to Netherlands and Germany and wondered if anyone can recommend any
places/ sites along this route.

Steve, it depends what interests you.

Modern architecture? -Rotterdam market hall, Classical architecture? - Het Loo palace, A garden? - Piet Oudolf's. A national park? - Hoge Veluwe. Van Goghs? - Kroller Muller museum. Historic cities? - lots.  And that's before you even get to Germany.

Arnhem/Oosterbeek area good for a few days.  All the WW2 stuff plus good cycling.  If you want a campsite Warnsborn Camping is a lovely rustic site Mid way between Arnhem & Oosterbook.  Good outdoor museum near Warnsborn, buildings from all over the Netherlands
and most them are working exhibits.

Depending on the route you take, Enschede is also a good stopover as is Osnabruck.

As David said, plenty to see in and around Lemgo.  We lived in Herford, just up the road for a few years.
