Kiko Park Upgrade

We've arrived at Kiko Park to find that the NW part of the site is half way through a major upgrade. The old cramped ACSI pitches are all being replaced by large Gran Confort fully-serviced pitches. Taps, EHU and Drainage on every pitch. Low season rate is €24.

Bad news is that there are not many ACSI pitches left on the other side and in the motorhome park, and these are now on the €19 rate,

Tomorrow we'll find out how noisy the work is going to be ( Sunday today). Warma and windy here, but icy blasts forecast for the coming week.

We had a Gran Confort last October it was only €20.50 so looks like the price has gone up too, still the Germans with the big vans will still pay itWink

It's sunny but cold here at Kiko, and the wind has come around to the North. It's lovely out of the breeze for sitting out.

Just as well that the weather is OK because we suggested Kiko Park to JimE last October, on this forum, when he was planning his trip.

So here they are. Jim's looking exceptionaly smart as he'd just returned from Oliva having had a Spanish haircut!

The construction noise is minimal, apart from the inevitable radio music. It's a good site with direct access to the beach, and an easy cycle ride into town - unlike the rocky road to Ribamar! Stick to plan.
