one of the options we are considering for next year is Lake Constance and to break the journey from Calais we are looking at a possible stop over around the Baden Baden area. Can any of the regulars who visit Germany suggest anything? we are familiar with
Germany itself (given my wife is german) however this will be only our third caravan holiday in the country so still have a lot to explore!

CoolCamping assures me that Camping  Mullerwiese is THE place to go.  Have a look at what they have to say.

We stayed at Camping Waldfrieden for 6 nights on the way back from Constance in May (Swiss side, Egnach)

We always stop at Trend Camping or Alisehof near to Wolfach in the Black Forest  if you go further down.  Both are ACSI Camping Card Sites details
here on page Reviews of campsites Germany.

Good stepping stone to Bodensee (Lake Constance).

Thanks for the various suggestions. DT,  I was hoping you would have some thoughts! I will have a look and see how they fit in with our plans and criteria.

We have used Waldfreiden (and fabulous it is, especially nearby Saarburg) on 2 previous ocassions however I need to be just a bit further south-east.
