Yipee my 2016 ACSI DVD arrived to day.  Early they said delivery Jamuary.  I can now get down to planning our route for Spring and a route for a member of my website.  If anyone else would like a route plan and map with ACSI Campsites for Germany, Austria,
Belgium, Holland and Italy please ask No Charge.

Interesting as the 2015 version works perfectly well with Windows 10?

I am on Windows 7 after my new Laptop last year ccame with 8 but as 8 was such a disaster my Son's Computer Technician put 7 on.  I am waiting for this same guy to OK 10 before upgrading.  Perhaps I will not bother if the DVD does not work as I use it a
lot.  I still have DVD 2012 though.

The DVD will not work on Windows 10 only because the inbuilt DVD player is missing from the upgrade. If you fresh installed W10 you will have to buy the Microsoft player app or use a free one like 'VLC'.

For those that upgraded from W8 and not by a fresh install then Microsoft has released an update recently 'KB3081704', it is the paid for app but free for those through the upgrading route.

The DVD will then play either by the update player or any free player you care to download.

Fortunately or unfortunately I did a fresh install and the Microsoft app will cost me £11.54, so won't bother I will install 'VLC'.

beverley12  It is in addition to Books. It has all ACSI Sites on it in Europe, not just the Camping Card Sites.  It is a planning program where you can plot your route from site to site with mileage and then print the Route and a Map.  Hope this helps

Dianne, I always thought ACSI sites and Camping Card sites were the same thing?  Undecided

If you don't book in advance (or even decide in advance) how do you print off a map when you are away ?

ACSI has 9,911 Inspected Campsites in 31 European Countries of which just 3,142 are Camping Card Sites..

You print the Map of the route you have planned before you leave on your trip.   We always have a general idea where we want to go with specific places in mind so it is most useful.  We do not always keep to it but you can change it enroute and see it on your laptop offline and of course print it if you have the availability of a printer

...The books only show the sites that take part in the ACSI reducted rate off season scheme.  The DVD has literally thousands more sites on it plus the facility to plan your route and estimate distances and cost.
