Lake Como - Italy

Looking for site recommendations around Lake Como (For car/caravan not a MH). We are not big fans of the big all singing all dancing sites, 'low key' is the word, minimal facilities required eg EHU and somewhere to get water and empty the loo would do!!
Doesn't have to be lakeside - anywhere in the area considered.

Might be a tall order for the area but willing to look at anything if something very basic not available.

Our 'van is quite large (7.9 metres) and a twin wheeler but it has a mover.

Thanks in advance.

This is a nice site at Sorico on the northern end of the Lake, or rather on the river leading into the lake.

In May/June we stayed at Camping Parisi, on the lakeside in Baveno.  Just a short walk from the ferry dock for a trip to the Borromeo Islands and Stresa.  No swimming pool, but if you want to swim there is the lake! Quite easy to visit the other lakes, and
if you want to get to Milan there is a coach trip on Fridays.

Thanks for the further input but it looks like La Riva ticks the boxes. The only slight snag we hit was due to the size of our outfit which at 7.9 metres meant we couldn't book for our prefered dates. There is a limit to 7.5 meters for much of July/August
which I think is not uncommon on some continental sites, particularly Italy. So by shifting to the end of August beginning of September we can book. I hadn't realised this site is bookable through the CC too which is an added bonus.

Thanks again, particularly David for the suggestion.

If you like gardens its worth a drive down the western side of the lake to visit Villa Carlotta at Tremezzo.
