Any advice on good sites in Denmark

We are considering taking our caravan to Denmark next summer. Would like to visit Copenhagen. Does anyone have any suggestions of good sites within easy reach of Copenhagen? Also any advice on the best route / overnight stops from the channel ports. Many

    I went via Arnhem, Camping Warnsborn and Malente near Plon, northern Germany. My account of touring Denmark, which included visiting Copenhagen is >here<

    Camping Absalon, www.campingabsalon.dk/uk 5 miles from Copenhagen but 10 minutes walk to train station and 20 minutes ride to Copenhagen city centre.

    Good for touring around Aalborg area, went up to Skagen from here.
