Just tell me when it's over.  Adverts are driving me nuts.  Not been through the door.

The most pathetic thing I've heard was a 12 year old asking his dad what they would be doing for Black Friday.  I give up.

Same here other than going for our walk, not been out the house. Wouldn't dream of going into town today or tomorrow either. Really looking forward to our holiday away soon, just to get away from all the madness.

Don't knock Black Friday - I was at the Livingston Retail Outlet today and bought a very nice watch for 30% off the outlet retail price which in it'self is much less than the real retail price. -- I'm happy .. Smile

We went to Tesco in Burnley this morning, usual Friday morning stock up. They were selling lots of TVs. Didn't check the price, we already have one, but a lot of people were buying them....

Some very good bargains to be had.

Rather than feel like a 'victim', I would suggest that people take advantage. It is the suppliers who are the victims, as they feel the need to offer (in some cases) significant discounts that they wouldn't normally offer.

Mrs WN asked if we'd be looking for any bargains. I asked her if there was any elecrical item that we desperately needed and after 5 minutes of thinking she gave up and we went for a drink instead. Result.

If you need it, then it is a bargain, however, if you bought it because it was cheap, without needing it, then more fool you!

Trouble is with black Friday it concentrates so much buying on a single day it throws all the deliveries out. Just went on to Amazon to try and buy a Christmas present and the next day delivery is not on offer. We were going to be in all day Tuesday so a
bit of a shame. Will have to wait for another day.

Did everyone check in detail the Product number on the "Offer" items. May find one number or letter different to  those for sale at full price. Reason its not quite the same standard or has fewer functions..ikewise in the Designer Outlets, the goods are
made specifically for them with the manufacturers name but not of the same qualityof their retail shops. Donr t be deceived, the only winnerr is the retailer.

Even though we are eligible for Prime next day delivery, I usually tend to use the 'no rush' option and get a £1 credit to use on a Kindle book.

Mrs H  bought a Dyson cordless vac in the Black Friday sale......on Sunday Undecided

Anyway, it was a very good reduction. Boy did it need to be!

But the power! It all but pulls the pile out of the carpet! Didn't realise how much dirt was in there!
