1  this lousy dead mans shift I've gotta work for 8 more weeks

2 We've been invaded by " travellers"  on our local park. You cant believe the filth and damage. Some of them have moved a bit further away to a small park for kiddies.

Un bloody believable!!

I'm a fairly laid back person so very little bothers me unless one of my family is unwell.

It's politics I enjoy arguing about but don't do it on this forum as it is disallowed. Innocent

You're right Volvoman. I do a lot of cycling and the roads have become virtually lawless.

Litter thrown out of cars. Boils my p***. I'd close all drive throughs down and make people eat from a plate with a knife and fork.

But seriously very little winds me up apart from the general standard of driving on the roads, and quite often from other caravanners!! Who think speed limits and sensible driving dont apply to themSealed. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

I agree it seems that a lot of people drive cars with indicators which don't work. I also can't do with drivers who, when turning right at a T junction won't get right over to the centre white line and so don' t leave enough room for others to get past to
turn left, so we all have to wait for traffic in both directions to be free. And don't get me started on people who seem to need a gilt edged invitation before they'll turn.

Not respecting others views?, agreed. We all have different takes on most subjects, we will disagree with some & agree with others but the respecting of the contrary views is something the intelligent do automatically, others prefer to trash those views
    & belittle. Not acceptable.

Faceless organisations such as NICE who spend their lives telling us how we should live ours.....

Blood pressure should be xx/yy,  cholesterol should be ???, our weight should be,  we should eat  ,  we should drink,  we should walk..... etc..

And of course, there is no safe way to get a sun tan, so we should take vitamin  D pills because we don't get enough sunshine!

I wonder if the big Pharmaceutical companies sponsor all this research?

    I need a drink!

Some big things, some little things.

Big things? People around the world killing each other for no really  good reasons. Rich countries interfering in other countries, tribal, ethnic and gender discrimination. Cruelty and suffering of wildlife in mistaken belief of "medicinal" purposes. Most
news programmes are currently like watching a horror story unfold in front of you, with little that can be done to end it. Medieval values in a 21st century world. A personal view of course.

Small things? Litter, poor parenting skills, idle pet owners, my local council, bad drivers, poor service in shops and eating places, lack of respect for other people. Sometimes I can do something to register dissatisfaction in the hope that things will
    improve!

People who carry on with a conversation on their mobile phone when they reach the pay desk in a shop, fumble to pay without saying a word to the cashier, and hold everyone up in the queue.  Similarly, people who suddenly answer their phone or text whilst
you're in the middle of a conversation with them without even an "excuse me, do you mind if I answer this?"  Totally rude, in my opinion.

Totally agree with you, manners do not cost anything. . .

And phone zombies, you have all seen them, walking along, head down, texting or gaming and when they walk right at you and have to look up they have the nerve to tut at you!!

I dont move out of their way on principal now,

I just turn slightly offering them a shoulder to walk into, much like bouncing of a brick wall. .

    And if they dare tut, I'll snatch that phone off them and . . . . . . . .     Winking

I pay two lots of road tax so assume that I'm allowed to ride my bike on the road......as opposed to a litter strewn path full of pedestrians and that runs out after a couple of hundred metres?

cycle paths are too narrow and unsafe. I use them most of the time around town but not out of the major towns as you get hedgerows pushing you into the road, rubbish in the gutter & cars passing too close. Don't they know the
distance they should pass by? car drivers think they can park anywhere, why not park against the cycle path instead of on it?  I'm sorry but as I am responsible for my own safety I will ride in the middle of the lane when going around corners, roundabouts
and up hills. Once all cycle ways are guided like those past the Christie hospital cyclists will have less need to use the main carriageway but till then....
