I read somewhere that most of us believe "old" people are  about 10 years older than we are, so we must reckon we are still middle-aged.

My Mum lived till 98, so I am planning on being around a good while yet.

Is there an "age" between middle age and old age?

I am not having a middle age. I am going from an unruly and difficult youngster to an unruly and difficult old person. Only difference will be I will not apologise about the wind.

I know a number of people who have said this. Is it an indication of you having fun, or forgetting things? Terry Wogans 'senior moments'  without the bits in the middle?
