We've got to get ours ready too, but first the plasterer who is having to detour away from flood water. Hope you enjoy your trips away, we're going up to the Midlands to see some of the family.

Grandsons gave us very comprehensive Surprised Christmas lists yesterday so I think Christmas shopping is on the cards
for this morning and then this afternoon a meeting with the new Chair and Treasurer of the College Student Committee to officially hand over the bank accounts.

They certainly focus the mind, especially if they are the same generation. We only have one life, as far as we know, enjoy every minute if you can. It certainly puts into prospective what's important.

bit late now but thanks for all the likes. I am a bit slow aren't I Laughing I was busy knitting so kept putting laptop down.

Couldn't get back in to log on last night, could see all posts but evertime I tried to reply or log on I got the maintenance notice.

Well went to bed last night thick frost outside -5c, got up this morning all gone Surprised Skies a bit mixed, dark grey clouds in some
places and blue sky in others, think we will get rain at some stage though.

What am I doing today, not a lot at the moment still sat in PJ's catching up on here. Need to get dressed and get out to van before the rain as we need to empty it, as its going up to Aberdeen in a few days to have its annual habitation service, some warrenty
work done and a roof satellite system fitted. That means spare bedroom is going to look a bit like a dealers shop for the next month Frown

Hope Brue and everyone else down South are ok today.

Not a bad day here either, dry, some sun.

Was very cold yesterday evening, but at around midnight the temperature suddenly started rising.  Very strange weather!

Have arranged trailer hire for DS to remove remains of a big tree we had to have cut down at the Guide Hall, so that is my upcoming weekend sorted.  Just hope it is not raining all weekend!

Write your comments here... Seems it's a burst water main but they don't know where it is as half the town's out as well as the site.

Food has gone back into kitchen cupboards just need to sort out the rest of the gubbins, why do we need so much stuff.

Think we will go for a walk before it gets cold and dull again, sunset last night was great.

Fairly dull today, but at least it's not raining.  We've had a ride out today.  Lunch at The Crabtree at Preston Bagot, then a ride into Stratford upon Avon for a little walk by the river and the chance for the dog to have a run.  Now sitting in the Cafe
    having a cuppa.
