A couple of us reported a faulty thread earlier today and it was fixed. I'll report this and hope we'll see an improvement tomorrow.

We're doing a double Brio order at the moment. It might quieten down soon because of England playing Spain at Wembley.

Well it's out thankfully. Day didn't start off too well as I managed to crack open my forehead on a cupboard door edge and had blood dripping down over my nose. Fortunately I'm not a bleeder, regardless of what others say, and a plaster soon put a stop to
it running. Spent morning round town shopping, and getting some funny looks from passers by too. Off to the dentist for 2:00 appointment, 35 mins and 3 injections later the job was done. It's taken to just now for the numbness to wear off, but atleast there's
little pain. Got home just in time before tyre fitter came to replace caravan tyres. So all in all a successful if a bit expensive day.

Glad the dentist went well and little pain now. Hope you've got some painkillers just in case? Poor head. Seems like your day went reasonably well.

Thanks B2, still have 3 day's of penicillin to take and plenty of painkillers too. Glad that the day's over, although it wasn't too bad. Weather was dry for the trye fitting too, thankfully, as yesterday was horribly wet.

The parcel we posted last Wednesday lunchtime arrived with our daughter in nz her Wednesday morning before 1015. Fantastic service. Photo (no idea why i was sent a photo of it) it looks in tact. She has to wait until there are no eyes before she can open

We got back to the caravan during a gap between deliveries and I saw the whistle go for half time with England leading 1-0. Then a Macdonalds order came so now back in the town centre for collection. It's raining too!

Glad the offending tooth is out nth. Hope you will soon be pain free. I had that trouble a few years ago and had to come home early from a couple of trips. Dentist finally agreed that the root canal treatment hadn't been successful and took the tooth out
    - the relief was wonderful. Hope your head soon heals as well.

    Some sun some rain today.

DD rang to say her husband's tenant had a problem getting into the flat yesterday, problem with the lock apparently, so that is my tomorrow sorted!  Will need to go and look at door and lock and probably replace lock.

Visited Guide Hall to renew some silicone round kitchen work surfaces.......guides have been throwing water around by the look of things.

We had the gardener/tree persons there the last 2 days, a dead tree to remove, big branches to remove from neighbour's Leylandii as they were rubbing on the building, several small self seeded trees to remove, a general clear up, and 2 tonnes of gravel on paths.......Guides now £2000+ poorer.

The dead tree has yielded about 2 tonnes of timber so will see if DS wants it for his woodburner!

Yeaterday we met with a Dad who is interested in taking over the looking after of some aspects of running the building, if it works out that will relieve the pressure on OH and mean we can go away much more without worrying.

OH will still be treasurer and we will be there to do small jobs and be the "holiday relief".  OH has been looking after the building for some 21 years, so it will be a bit strange to hand over to someone else!

My OH went to clean our 'local' caravan today but on the way met the farmer who was cutting down two huge trees.  He stopped to help and came home with one of three car loads of logs................ two more to pick up tomorrow, already cut, and a huge pile
still to tackle so I can see I'll be doing some labouring tomorrow.
