Bakers, do you just sit there and wait for blank pages? You point hogger
BTW, my comment yesterday about minimalism was made because the little devils hadn't appeared at the time of posting but did appear next time I refreshed the screen! Preferred the minimalism myself.

1st November means the start of free parking in Cornwall council car parks, at least here in Perranporth. So we've spent most of the afternoon walking the length of Perranporth beach and back without having to take out a bank loan first!
Still very warm, still wearing shorts but the forecast for the rest of the week suggests today might be the last day for that ( much to Mrs M's approval!)

I think it may be caused by posting icons from a phone. Bakers2 posted 3 devils from his Kindle. In response, I posted one from my Galaxy Note 4 and the page instantly blew up! (posted from the CT emoticons, so it should be OK.) Apologies everyone.

Looks like it Ian!
Been up to Leek today do do a recce. We were hoping to go up to Blackshaw Moor CC site in 2 weeks time. When I went to book, I realised it would be closed so we've been to find an alternative. We've booked in at Glencoe Caravan ParK at Cheddleton.

Can't remember the last time we've not heard fireworks going off at this time of the year.
Funnily enough, Nellie, Mrs.WN and myself were saying exactly the same thing this morning. Maybe it's because younger kids are having a harder time getting their hands on them or else money is tight. Not complaining as they're not my favourite things. (fireworks
not kids, although.....)remind me of first world war verey lights . Its Hubby's birthday, only firework I need so we celebrate that. Its a milestone one this year. Government starts to pay him
WOW, B2 are you really, truly, honestly that old to be able to remember them ??
But may the OH collect that cash from H.M. government funds ( i.e. me ) for a long long time

Local council ( Cheshire East of awful, horrid memory ) have stated that Garden Waste Collections this year will cease week-ending 4th Dec, and restart in early February, so they must be expecting a huge growth in the local economy

Touch of Ground Frost this morning Lovely clear air when I took the dog for his morning walk. Visited a couple of forums for a couple of minutes during coffee. Spent around 2 hours in the upper flower bed clearing summer bedding, and turning the soil over. Then had a family visit where we all met up at one of my daughters house. Returned home in time to take the dog for his mid afternoon walk. then popped on here for a couple of minutes before enjoying a read of my new E book.
A very enjoyable day
Cheers K

I have always used the three devils on blank posts, since blank pages first appeared. As far as I know I have not previously caused an error to occur. Apologises if it was I. I suspect its this site

We went down to Hive Beach, near Bridport, this morning, had a lovely seat in the cafe gazing out to sea, nice big mug of coffee and a stroll along the shore. Very foggy again inland and getting a bit chilly tonight. Just heard daughter's school trip bus
to London has broken down in Chelsea, this always seems to happen. A bus full of teenagers to keep out of mischief!0 -

Yes, it's the one behind the high street. The one at the top of Droskyn is also free now but roadworks on the hill mean a roundabout route to get there. The beach car park, run privately, is still charging.
We were actually at Par Sands, or nearby, yesterday. Walked from Charlestown and back with the dogs and a picnic lunch at the charmingly named Spit Point ( according to the OS map), nice stretch of coastline but had to walk along the edge of the golf course
as dogs not made welcome on Carlton Bay!0
