Another nice day today surprisingly, was a bit dull to start with but then it got better as the day progressed. Last of the big hedge cutting now done, looks very good Smile Trying to get a quote from workmen to lay new paths, some of them are really comedians when they give you a price.

    Happy birthday Malcolm

After finishing work yesterday, we went shopping at the local Tesco Extra and bought a birthday cake for my
    65th birthday today.

It was raining earlier this morning when I first woke up but at least it has cooled the temperature down! Yesterday was too hot! We brought the table and relaxers into the awning from outside last night knowing that it was going to rain.

Happy Birthday,  Malcolm, enjoy your day Smile

A day at CAB and my first appointment took 3 hours......phew!

The afternoon one was a bit more straight-forward, thankfully.

Had the Mini serviced and an MoT.......cost £72 so not too bad.

Oh, and Happy Birthday Malcolm! Laughing

Yet another fine day. Walked up to the top of the Wrekin and then over and down to the Little Hill and back round the side of the hill. Back to the van early so that we could get some clothes washing done, out and dried, before the clouds come in and the
    rain that's forecast.

Back home now after our 7 weeks outing.  All the washing, cleaning and catching up to do now.

Our daughter Anna had her A level results today and we're really pleased that she has got into Falmouth University - her first choice - in order to do photography.  I can feel some visits to Cornwall in the caravan coming on.

    David

Congratulations to your daughter David. Great news. Smile

My car is now all fixed, no more petrol fumes from the filler pipe. Happy Old pipe had rusted through!  Yell

Eldest son turned up tonight, with all his kit that we have to take to Cirencester with us! He will meet us there tomorrow evening. Caravan packed, just hoping weather isn't as bad as forecast. Undecided

Thanks Tammygirl,  our son didn't want it too warm for his Tough Mudder,  but running and doing the obstacles in really strong wind, could be hard work!  Sad

Good morning, Ian. We're following your advice about Chipping Sodbury. We'll go there on 31st August to get the air-conditioner sorted and have a couple of days break from work. I've already told the boss that we need those two days off.

Owing to the weather today being a bit off!! have been people watching on site and two thins have stood out

1 The a amount of grandparents with children on site and not with a tow car?

2 That the car's that tend to speed are the small cars from either the van with grand parents? or ones that have a m/van as well?
