Thanks Ian, I'll look in to that siteHappy

Write your comments here...Can second Ian's recommendation, HD. I know your better half has mobility problems and Keswick is easy to get into from the C&CC site. Plus all of the buses leave from Booths car park area, near the site, and you can get daily
or weekly tickets that take you all over. The scenery is also stunning and it's much easier to get to without navigating along tight roads, which is not the case with Coniston

thanks W, looks like coniston Is on the back burnerHappy

Cut the grass this morning.....the rate of growth is definitely slowing down.

Painted some more fencing this afternoon.......who's idea was it  to use trellis for part of the fencing?? What a pain it is to paint!

You're telling me I have 15 x 6ft x 6ft trellis panels to paint + an arch, thankfully most of the trellis is covered by climbers now so I only have to do the bits that showWink

Up and mobile again so we went to Go Outdoors to see if they had a small pup tent in their sales. They didn't have one to suit but we still managed to find £100 worth of cycling gear that wasn't on the list but suddenly became important! How does that happen?

Sorry to hear your dog needs treatment Kerry, hope all goes well.

I think we've said goodbye to the sunshine here, a lovely few days now fading away. (Just discovered OH must have flipped the freezer switch off when he was working in our outside store, everything defrosted.....grrrr.)

Write your comments here...thanks Brue. She has to go every week until Christmas as she has lymphoma

I'll second that. We know how important one's dog is to the whole family.

Write your comments here...thanks Nellie. Yes she is all we have and love her to bits.

Eldest son has just sent me a course map for his Tough Mudder Challenge at the weekend,  rather him than me! Surprised It's going to
be windy,  he will get blown round!

Plans have been changed now, he us now going to meet us in Cirencester as he has to be in Oxford on Friday afternoon. So much for having everything organised. Undecided

After finishing work yesterday, we went shopping at the local Tesco Extra and bought a birthday cake for my 65th birthday today.

It was raining earlier this morning when I first woke up but at least it has cooled the temperature down! Yesterday was too hot! We brought the table and relaxers into the awning from outside last night knowing that it was going to rain.

Had to wait in this morning as new fuel pipe being delivered for my car, hopefully OH will get it fitted this afternoon. Hope now that car will be ok now for a while. Undecided

Just got to get shopping done now, after work for the weekend,  weather forecast seems to  getting worse.,  but don't suppose it will affect the tough mudder competitors,  as they will be wet and muddy anyway! Laughing

Cloudy but bright and very humid here. Just finished giving the foliage at the front of the house a short back and sides. Sticky work.

Back home now after our 7 weeks outing.  All the washing, cleaning and catching up to do now.

Our daughter Anna had her A level results today and we're really pleased that she has got into Falmouth University - her first choice - in order to do photography.  I can feel some visits to Cornwall in the caravan coming on.

Great to hear from you Moulsey, and I'll certainly pass on your good wishes to Anna.  I think it might even be 'white wine of the sparkling variety' this evening.  Wink
