Yet another mixed day weather wise, no rain at the moment but it is forecast for later.

Washing done and hung out, OH washed and polished his trike and I did a bit more in the garden. Will need to think about finishing up as we are going out tonight to see Russell Watson in Aberdeen. We thought we might take the M/H up to Stonehaven for a couple
of days, but the weather isn't great, so we will just drive up and back tonight, 180 mile round trip. Might have a lie in in the morning.

Ooops spoke to soon rain just startedFrown

Just  Back  Home from  a  few  days  at  C.C.  Poolsbrook,  don't  understand  it  at  all --  it  was  sunny  &  cloudless  when  I  set  off,  but  its  now  its  all  grey  &  threatening  in  The  County  Palatine  Sad.

Reckon  I'll  have  to  postpone  putting  piccys  (  lots  of  them  from  Dunscome  Park  Steam  Rally  oop  ther  in   yorkyland )  onto  computer,  and  concentrate  getting  the  household  duties  done  afor  it  starts  raining !

P.S.  Delighted  to  hear  that  David  D S B  at  last  has  a  fully  functioning  motor  with  no  extraeneous  whines.  Hope  his  Euro-jaunt  is  all  he  wishes  for Cool !

Yes, I was pleased to hear David & co were safely away on their holiday, look forward to hearing about it!

We did well with our open garden yesterday, lovely weather lots of visitors, think the four gardens made over £600 for local charities. Having a day off today, all energy spent! Wink

Brue thoughtthought of you yesyerday as we gave up queuing for classic car show and took a Sunday jaunt. Found ourselves some open gardens at Bradwell on Sea, very nice.  In aid of a condition I'd not heard of Distopia. Only four gardens, very nice.  Met
the young lady suffering from it, happened after a fall from a horse. Someone more upbeat you couldn't meet such a positive attitude. Thank goodness we don't know what life holds for us, make the most of every day ?.  She'd just had her school prom and had
'blinged up' her crutches for the ocassion.

Glad to hear it was successful and a decent amount raised. Well done on all your hard work, you deserve a rest today.

A visit to the osteopath this morning to sort my back out after heaving suitcases on my recent mini-cruise. Back pain is better. Now transferred to wallet. Undecided

Cleaned up the friction pads on our stabiliser, also gave the tow ball a good rub down (had a bit of creaking last time out).

Then this afternoon did a bit of gardening (in my gardening shoes Wink) in between nipping in to watch the Tour.

Bakers, yours was a very pertinent post.

This morning, whilst out and about, I was thinking about a friend who has Dystonia and how she is coping but suffering and I was thinking about my brother who goes into hospital today to try to find out whats wrong with him and I was thinking  how lucky
I was. Oh sure I have my own problems but there are many people out there in a far worse condition and to anyone who is in a bad way or who has loved ones who are ill I would like to wish you well and hope it helps a little knowing you are not alone and that
there are people thinking of you, even if we can't do anything practical. Good luck.

Thank you, I  don't know what to say wherenext about your brother, sometimes a label helps, but sometimes its not what you want to know. The young girl/lady was 13 and it took a year for diagnosis and then little or no help or research into the condition.
I do feel for him and you, in my thoughts and prayers.  Coming close to losing my hubby when he was 43  with two young children I try not to take life for granted. Although sometimes it is very easy to get complacent.

Lovely to hear all the updates.  Thank you for the comments.  Lovely evening here in the Black Forest.  Cadac tea done.  Now just finishing off the wine.  Lovely hot day today, but the evenings are cooler.

Is that one of the original two-stroke ones or the diesels that they produced under licence? I had one of the 10HP twin two strokes. Great engine - good agricultural simplicity if a bit thirsty.

Had a wonderful time last night at the concert, he certainly puts on a good show. We didn't get back home until 00.30 but well worth the drive, it was lovely weather in Aberdeen when we arrived and left, but it had obviously rained a lot around Angus and
Tayside, as we drove through some quiet bad banks of Scotch MistWink This morning is going to be a lazy one I think, not sure what the weather is
going to do yet so don't know what we are going to get up to today.
