Had wonderful day at Potty Festival only one small shower otherwise weather lovely and then great evening with the Sherringham shanty men (just back from Falmouth). Today have friends visiting,will then pop along coast to Blakeney for a walk and the bacon butties from cafe , weather still fine

Thank you Helen and Bakers. We are having a lovely time despite weather being a bit 'mixed'! Son, DIL and 2 grandchildren arrived from N. Ireland to join us yesterday so a great evening was had by all.

Write your comments here...I never worry too much about the weather. There are always ways to make the best of it! Some wet weather can help to cool the temperature to a more comfortable level. The only time the weather bothers me is when we're moving. We hate having to pack the awning away in the rain and the same applies to the tent on our two day camping trip every 21 days.

I agree can't change the weather just have to make the most of it. But oh for blue skies and sun, not necessarily heat, makes me feel so much better and inspires me, but I don't mind the heat if I don't have much to do. We are after all human beings not

Where you are now has to be one of the most warmest places in Britain (and expensive you say) if you moved further Nort you won't need the AC or
to sit in the shade and you never know you might we able to get a proper job and house

Weather still mixed here blue skies one minute next a shower. Got Mum for the day and even had a visit from one of my Nephews, he came up from England yesterday for my neices wedding. We had a lovely time last night at the party, I do wish more of the family
had come up, guess that's what you get with the family being spread out all over the UK. Having a rest from the gardening today but might go and have a look round the shops after taking Mum back, we can do that up here as they are all still open.0 -

Scotland is quite appealing with its mountains and lochs. I'm not sure that dinnertogo would be too keen on me leaving though. They

Malcolm surely it is up to YOU to decide who YOU work for and if your 'employer' is that keen to retain you pay you the minimum or living wage of £7.20 per hour. Myself respect would demand that. But I don't want to open up that can of worms yet again. Maybe
the answer is to move around the country exploring areas checking out house prices or rents. Once you have your pension I can't imagine you'll be much worse off. I you have no ties to an expensive warm/hot area why stay? After all I can't imagine travelling
between sites would cost you any more in fuel than your work. As has been said many many many times before onlyyou can resolve your issues along with your wife.0 -

If we moved to another area, unless we rented a property in that area, we woukd have
a long way to come to collect our mail.Once we got here we searched for jobs locally and I thought that as I used to do a lot of driving, a driving job seemed the best bet.

We've been back a couple of hours now from a week at New England Bay. It rained on the way up and when we were setting up. Monday morning was showery, so we managed to get the awning up. I'm glad we did, as it gave us somewhere to sit, while pretending to
be outside. The weather all week was "mixed", very heavy showers, brief bright interludes, and cool. But despite that we had a wonderful relaxing time. We did nothing exciting, just sat around reading and listening to music. With the odd glass or two. The
caravan is unpacked and unhitched, I've sorted through 125 emails, paid some bills, done some filing etc.The first thing I did was light the wood burner. The house seemed so cold. And of course we had to light the Aga. It's solid fuel and takes about 12 hours to get up to cooking temperature.
My husband is milking and I'm just starting to wind down again.
Next time off? Who knows!

Glad you got off ok David hopefully now you can relax and enjoy yourself after a stressful few weeks. Its been a lovely day here down in Cornwall we went to Charlestown today and visited the heritage centre which was very interesting and well worth a visit.
We then got a drink and sat in the beer garden of the local pub and watched people seimming around the small harbour also saw some people launching a boat. Now heading back to the van streak pie for dinner tonight hopefully we will get sotting outside for
a while once we get back0 -
Mum now back at the home, she seems to have enjoyed her day out
I managed to get some shopping done. Then home in time to cut the grass
and strim the edges, just in time to catch F1. Will need to go out later and tidy up and clean mower. Lovely evening tonight bit blowy but nice.Glad you got away ok DSB, have a wonderful holiday.

We've just been for a walk by the sea front along the promenade in the sunshine but with a cool breeze. Lots of people there sitting on the beach or walking along the promenade. The tide was out.

Went to the local caravan dealers today, they had a fun day and a sale on caravans, had a good look around some right bargains to be had on 2016 models could have bought a 2016 caravan same as ours for approx £1000 more than we paid for ours in 2013. Had fish & chips for lunch another bargain at £2.50

Nice sunny morning here in Worthing this morning. We need to do some shopping at Tesco and go to the bank plus take the hired car back to the car rental. That will probably take up most of the morning.
We'll probably spend the afternoon on site and maybe watch some of the Wimbledon on tv or sit out in the relaxer in the awning provided it's not too hot. So hopefully, a nice quiet peaceful afternoon chilling out!

Another glorious morning here. Birds fed washing on, about to start a spring type clean of the house so it will be surface dirt only on our return. Nets to wash and windows to clean. Won't all happen today but that's my non paid working hours sorted for
this week . Not sure which is harder work - getting ready to go away for an extended period or returning from one0 -
