Busy doing a delivery at the moment.

just can't help yourself Malc!  Personally I don't care which is chosen as I won't be posting on it again.

We shall miss you Oneputt.  I love hearing about your birdwatching and also about your lovely grand twins.  I hope they enjoy their stay in your caravan and also that you have a great holiday on the continent.

Feeling a bit low at the moment.  The lovely young woman who has been coming to the house to do our hair for over 20 years and just been this afternoon and told me that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer - she starts her chemo tomorrow.  Life can
    be so unfair sometimes.

Write your comments here...That's sad news, Milliehull. We can only hope that she can overcome it and make a full recovery.

Getting caravan ready for a few days break in Sutton on Sea, hoping the sea air blows this damn flu virus thingy germs away, had it now for over two weeks

Sorry to hear you're poorly. Wishing you a lovely break and the good fresh east coast air will chase your germs away.

Well I only popped out for a couple hours part two had pages to read and was closed this one had four pages ?.  My Dyson is now scrubbed within an inch if its life, it wasn't wrinkly .  Cleaned the bathroom so all shipshape again.

Oneputt please do keep posting, its nice to know what others are doing, I'm scared others maybe having a more exciting time then me.

Very heavy downpours all afternoon I was 10 miles away there too, but OH says been a terrific thunderstorm here.  Grass is positively shooting up but no chance of cutting at present.  Think well leave it and make hay

Write your comments here...I agree, Bakers2. Best to just take one day at the time and live each day to the full. The future is in the hands of fate. It's like that song I remember from my childhood. Kay sera sera, whatever will be, will be, the future's
    not ours to see.....

If we watch it tonight I will let you know what we thought if it Millie

We watched it on the Brittany Ferries ferry back to the UK in March.  We enjoyed it but wouldn't recommend you go out of your way to watch it rather than wait for the DVD to come out.  It was funny but nothing special.  The real stars were Godfrey's sisters.....
and it was amusing to see Ian Lavender taking the role of a General...

Now arrived at a nice little site just SE of Luxembourg city, quite a few UK vans here too.  Weather not too bad today, managed to cook and eat dinner outside after putting on our thick sweaters!   Now back in the van with the heating on.

Short trip from Nancy to here so arrived in good time for lunch and spent the afternoon planning what to do.

Unusually for an ACSI site, they wanted to know how long we planned to stay and asked for payment up front.  Even worse......they don't take credit cards!  Luckily we had enough cash to pay for 4 nights.

However OH has made a 4 day plan, so we will need to raid the bank to pay for a 5th night here.  The forecast is not good so plans may well change.

The last leg of the trip will be to a site on the coast in Belgium on Sunday, in preparation for our ferry on Monday morning, then we have another 9 days till we are due home.

Shame part 2 was only 34 posts short of the Sunday departures thread which i believe was the thread with highest number of posts.

The trouble was that about 10% of those posts were for blank pages and and another 20% were MMs attempt to get to gold, so in reality proper posts would not match those on the Sunday Departure issue.
