Ok we've had 4 votes so far to keep this one open, I'll close the other one (sorry ABM...).
Just a friendly reminder while I'm here, please make sure to not post too much personal information on Club Together – as much as we strive to make CT a safe place, there can be trolls out there.
Have a nice evening everyone

Maybe a missed opportunity here. The new thread could have been called "What are you all up to today that doesn't involve work ?" Then any off topic posts could have been Deleted User.

Well, we went to Moreton in Marsh this morning, for the market. It was smaller than usual (probably because some were expecting rain, although it stayed dry).
Then we went to Kiftgate Gardens followed by another visit to Hidcote, as it's just up the road.
Some light rain during the afternoon, but absolutely pouring down now - with thunder to go with it. Some pitches are getting flooded due to tbe intensity of the rain.
There's only a few grass pitches here, thank goodness.

Getting caravan ready for a few days break in Sutton on Sea, hoping the sea air blows this damn flu virus thingy germs away, had it now for over two weeks

But at least you have a good selection of watering holes to choose from

Busy doing a delivery at the moment.
Part 2 may be closed but it's still recommended reading for you, Malcolm. I shall now return to my stance of ignoring your posts.

Write your comments here...Are you sure it's flu, pauline, and not some kind of allergy? Some allergies including hayfever can produce flu like symptoms.

I can't comment on what was said in part 2 Tinwheeler as it is no longer open for comments but I have read through it. I was absent at the time those comments were posted as I was out on a delivery and so missed the opportunity to reply. By the time I got
back on here, the thread had already been closed.0 -
As I understand it, this topic of discussion is about what people are up to today. So if work is part of what they are up to today then it is surely relevant to this discussion, is it not?

just can't help yourself Malc! Personally I don't care which is chosen as I won't be posting on it again.

Hope you feel better soon Pauline. Enjoy Sutton on Sea. Often wondered about going there - what is the site and the surrounding area like?

Shame part 2 was only 34 posts short of the Sunday departures thread which i believe was the thread with highest number of posts.
Write your comments here...I think it was a successful thread because it was relevant to everyone. If you include all the posts on part 1, it may well have exceeded Sunday departures.
If I remember rightly, part 1 was started by David, DSB. It was obviously a brilliant idea for a new topic of discussion judging by the number of posts and interest that it seems to have attracted.

Feeling a bit low at the moment. The lovely young woman who has been coming to the house to do our hair for over 20 years and just been this afternoon and told me that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer - she starts her chemo tomorrow. Life can
be so unfair sometimes.0 -
