the grandchildren came en mass for lunch today. They love our garden and vanished into the shrubs etc at the end of the garden.

They've gone now but a number of signs have appeared effectively banning me from end of the garden.

"No entry

keep out

under  konstruction keep out."

A number of tools, tarps and canes have gone too.

what's going on?

I think they could be getting the place ready for some "visitors". Hope it's ready for the end of June! Winking

A rather large den for children only is being built.

Did this myself in my grandad's very large greenhouse that had a very large shed attatched to it, he was not amused when we would not let him in to see to his cucumbers

Isn't it great to know some kids can still play like we did building Dens and making Boggy's jam and banana sanwhiches for picnics, many kids haven't a clue unless it's on a phone or laptop and gardens in modern houses are tiny just enough room for your
    bin if your lucky

    The've been back!

its "The Lord of the Flies" down there. They even have weapons to defend "their" property from me and I'm the owner of the garden.

( Rubes we have a large garden by modern standards and it's difficult to find them sometimes, only food draws the little devils out)

    love em to bits!
