Starry, starry night...

If anyone wishes to be brave and get up early (just before dawn) anytime between now and mid-February, and look south (just above the horizon), you will see five planets, with the naked eye. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter

I will give it a go but seeing the horizon to the south of us is difficult because of all the houses on our estate.

Too much light pollution here unless I get in the car and drive down to Southsea and look out over the sea.

Same problem here, far too much light pollution, unfortunately

It too was cloudy here early in the morning. Venus can be seen quite clearly most nights at the moment, even in an area of high light pollution.
