Does this count?  Today in Morrisons I picked up

Two Alessi salad bowls
Two Alessi serving plates
A pack of Ravenead HobNob tumblers
A Thomas roasting tin with rack

Even the ebay prices, with discounts, add up to nearly £100 pounds.  How much did I pay?  Just £5.23!

Each salad bowl was 99p, each serving plate 50p, the tumblers £1.05 and the roasting tin £1.20

My sons will get the Alessi bowls and plates, I'll use the roasting tin and the tumblers!

What a good day.

Called in today as eldest daughter dropped me off at the hospital to have a heart monitor fitted. I said rather than my paying three pounds to park pop across and park in Morrey's car park and have a breakfast or coffee on me. When I have been sorted I will walk across and join you. 25 mins later (I was 10 mins early for the appointment) I arrived at the cafe. 1 litre Bells whisky was £15 a litre but limited to 2 per customer. I passed her one of my credit cards and told her the pin and we picked up 4. I will do the same when we go tommorow to habd in the monitor. I could drive but, as she is free it gives us chance for a natter.

Hope all is well with you. I agree Morrisons do have good spirits offers from time to time and we do stock up there when they are on and we need something. Got four bottles of whisky and one brandy for my birthday so not needed just now as people trying
to find something for the man who has all he needs go for the obvious.

Compares with the litres of Bombay Saphire we brought back - after finding it on special offer in Spain, each bottle with a saphire coloured glass.  Each litre bottle cost far less than we would pay for a smaller bottle in this country. (Insert 'laid on back hiccuping icon thingy' here!)
