Oasis Water Purification Tablets

Has anyone tried the Oasis Water Purification Tablets? The main ingredient (is that the right word?) is the same as Clean Tabs, but they are rather cheaper. I currently bung a Clean Tab in the aqua roll when filling it up (my wife is a bit paranoid about
dodgy water etc).

My wife is more than a bit paranoid about dodgy water where as my guts are quite happy to be mistreated. However I would not ingest anything that had gone through an aquaroll and the van's system no matter what additive had been used.

I should probably clarify... we do have a separate 10L water container for drinking water, which is also used for cooking etc... but washing up and brushing teeth is done from what is in the aqua roll. So we don't drink it as such... but for teeth etc and
washing up it comes out of the aqua roll.

Like yourselves we also get our drinking water in a seperate 5 ltr container but brush teeth etc from aquroll water. We use our van for about 6 months of the year and have done for some years now both home and abroad without a problem. Don't worry!

It may not apply in this case, a number of sterillsing and cleaning tablets can be detrimental to the inner cores of the hot water heater.

A quick flush of the water container maybe ok, but longer term residual water left in the heater tank could cause corrosion.

Lurking germs are more liable to be in the warmer waters than the cold.  Also the tanks tend to get a hefty dose of chlorine curtesy of the water company so may not be such a problem.

edit Only to add that we take fresh water in separate containers for cooking and drinking.
