I use a laundry capsule with some bleach and leave it for a few hours.

Cheap bleach or a solution of Milton and water and leave for overnight.

I think that most of the "dirt" inside waste water containers will probably be found to be tea and coffee staining. I thought I'd try what I do to clean the inside of my teapot and put a large dose of a bio wash powder with a load of hot water and leave
it for several hours. Empty and rinse and it looks just like new. I think the point is the "bio" bit. It certainly cleans the crusted on gunge inside my tea and coffee pots perfectly and leaves my wastehog spotless.0 -
baby sterilising fluid so you not get taste of any chemicals in your water

Just wondering why it needs to be so clean on the inside?
When packing it away I just tighten up all the caps, making sure all the smells, (if there are any - I always run the aqua roll dry on the last day, therefore the waste master gets a good swill with mostly clean water), are locked away inside the wastemaster.
If the outside has got dirty I just give it a quick swill before putting it in its' storage bag.

I wonder if bio-tabs would work. Some folk reckon they are a good idea for the caravan loo (instead of 'blue' liquid). If they work for the loo, why not the wastemaster?? Just a thought.

What do you do with your dirty water.
Down the drain.

I dissolve the bio pod in warm water and pour it down one of the sinks or shower so it cleans the pipework on its way to the wastemaster

I use Mr Muscle drain cleaner in the kitchen sink and bathroom basin. Not only does it keep the convoluted drain pipes clean in the caravan but it also has the side effect of cleaning the inside of the wastemaster.

Vinegar. Pour in, screw top back on. Agitate so it goes all over. Lay flat in caravan. Drive home. The humps, bumps, potholes and pathetic state of UK roads will keep it agitating all the way home, or to next site. On arrival, empty, rinse, ready for use!
Cheap and not much effort required. Vinegar sorts out most things.0 -

Certainly sorts my fish & chips out..

I'm with Navigateur. Screw on caps and forget.

Ditch the Wastemaster and use a bucket. When it's full, sling it over the hedge. Advice applies to CLs only, not Club sites!

cheap cola - I use 4 bottles which are about 25p each, slosh it in, let it soak, turn it over, slosh it a bit more, soak it a bit more then rinse it out. Only do it once a year though. Do the caravan drains in the same way - plug, fill up with cola, soak
then drain0 -
If you really must clean it but you find a few stains remain you could try the old florists trick. Take the cleaning fluid of your choice & put it into your wastemaster or whatever, then add some glass marbles { the kids toy variety } seal the container and get some exercise by picking it up, and giving it a darned good shaking for a while == If that does not clean it, then its never going to get better !!
