Very small slow cooker
Popped into Morrisons this morning and saw a small e.g 1.5 litre slow cooker for a mere £10. Loois to be the perfect size and weight for caravanning.

Sorry, Catherinef, as I posted on "What are you doing" I ended up disinfesting the workshop ( Shed ) if two ***** ***** dead mice in the bird food bin can be classed as an "infestation" so it will have to be tomorrow
lunchtime or so. Thanks tho for the info !Brian

It was cold and snowy last week camping in ashbourne and we put two jacket spuds in our small slow cooker (wrapped in foil) its a tip someone gave me at slimming world, it was very nice going back into van to the smell of jackets ready to eat they were
pretty good altho darker flesh than usual0 -
Sounds interesting. Will take a drive out to our nearest Morrison's I think and have a look. Pity I didn't see this before coming home on Sunday as I was within walking distance of a branch of Morrisons.

Don't hold yer breff kiddo Its having to take second / third place to the George grill / Remoska at present.
The "Pretty-fication" of the new Time switch on the water heater must come to the top of my list, followed by the "Scouring of the Shed" ( near as I could get to Lord o t Rings
) Then I'll be doing some reading & research followed I hope very soon by a nice warming evening meal. Alas likely to be sometime next week.Fron its sheer physical dimentions, tho, it's likely to form a serious part of my M/homes culinary equipment, for which I thank you C !!

Child proof locks on, please, Old Grumpy is about to start swearing !! Seriously tho' if your OH can maintain his present status & yet keep on enjoying his life ( and food !! ) then I am very pleased for him -- it's normally considered to be incurable & progressive as well.

I can't for the life of me remember the name of my glorified bean bag that works as a slow cooker. Just boil the food for a few minutes - pop the casserole in the bean bag and leave it all day! Mine came from amazon. Name may be back at the beginning of this thread.
edit! How could I forget.....

Just reviving this thread to say that Morrison's (Southport for one) have the 1.5 litre slow cookers in store again. Breville brand at £12 and own brand at £10.

We've used one for years, in the caravan and at home. They use a tiny amount of electricity, and are pretty fool proof. Cleaning is a doddle. Try a shin of beef casserole cooked all day, when you get home pop some spuds or canelini beans in, have a slurp
of your vavourite tipple, when the tattles are ready, serve, yum.0 -
Thanks Jill, you must have read my mind, I was wondering about them only yesterday. Will have a look ....

If you don't find one at a Morrison's store, I've recently seen them in Lakeland Limited and Boundary Mill but a tad more expensive.

The original factory shop has a 1.5l swan slow cooker for £12 and their own
budget range 1.4l one for £8I have the second one. It's light and works very well
