Mayday breakdown issue
I think that most breakdown policies including Mayday state that they will only return the car and caravan to one place.
Like many other members our caravan is in a storage compound about 10 miles from our residence. There is no way that we could store that caravan at home and even if we did and had security locks on, there would be an issue with insurance because you cannot
have the caravan at home for longer than 48 hours.
Where does that leave us?

Last time I was recovered by Mayday, a few years ago the driver took my caravan to my storage, the car to mar mechanic and me home.

According to the T& C the caravan has the same cover as your car when being towed. They say they will return your vehicle to a garage or home. Therefore, if your caravan has the same cover, I assume, they would take this to a repairer, if damaged, or your storage compound. From the comments above they seem to be living up to this.

If your storage compound is on the way to your home then they are usually flexible enough to do both. Likewise if you are talking about a reasonable distance between the two, it should not be a problem. It cannot be guaranteed, as it could be open to abuse,
if storage is miles and miles away from home, but Green Flag agents do try to assist our members whenever they can. The last time I raised this query with their Technical Support team, my colleague at Green Flag said:
Yes, we would drop the caravan at a separate location if asked (within reason). Jean0
