We are a working man and woman. If we are going away for a few days (midweek or weekend), we get the caravan setup the day before. Then finish work at 6:30, away by 6:45, on site an hour later.

Two hours after finishing work we are relaxing with a glass or two.

That's too simple for OP though!

does the warden need to 'be there'....

are the LNAs inside the barrier?

the one at Ludlow (a well organised commercial site) has it just outside the barrier, complete with EHU and water/drainage.

isnt this the logical place to have one where late arrivals can park up without impacting on the staff....?

then they enter the site next morning.....not too difficult is it?

    'Does, are, isn't?'

We can't comment or offer any help or advice with your questions BB as we don't know the site in question!

LNA, Late Night Arrival, Haggis Arrives Late at Night ergo He should be able to acces LNA's. If there's space He should be allowed to use it. Nuff saidHappy

I'd agree to a point but some sites don't have that luxury of LNAs and afterall they are there for unforeseen circumstances not a bookable bolt on! If we could prebook them then what happens when those unforeseen events happen
to the unfortunate amongst us, they have lost their purpose!

If its bookable Mickey Boy then its revenue in. Your idea will deny the CC(you & I) revenue. So, the LNA's sit waiting just in case rather than pro-actively raising revenue. Get with the programme, make the CC more inclusive & customer centric for the likes
    of our HaggisCool

Goldie , we are getting the caravan ready tomorrow eve ( Wednesday ) as you do , leaving Thursday after work (as you do ) but due to the length of our journey we have to go further to be at our destination Friday

as before the 8pm check in will not work for us and as we now know the late night arrivals is actually the emergency situation arrivals area , thus we will be elsewhere having a glass of wine Thursday night

Just one last thought , how come then when I was at tintagel caravan club site and we had to leave at 545am to get to lincoln for midday , when I asked if it was ok to leave at that time they said theres no restriction on what time you depart !

Whats the difference ? Hypocrisy big time.

    Write your comments here...Undecided

Then just call them standard pitches! Doesn't answer the problem for those unfortunate late night arrivers amongst us and those already settled on site unless there are no last arrival times at all! That might be all right for some and some  commercial sites but lets do keep the differences IMO!

How strange, JVB.  Perhaps he owns both or has recently swapped from one to the other. It happens.

True, one wouldn't want ones personal club being 'lumped together' with those commercial typesLaughingLaughing

Time management and planning. Some are good at it, others need help. Having paid our membership fee, we accept arrival and departure times as part of Club we have joined. If we didn't, we wouldn't waste our money joining but look at thousands of other sites
available. If we planned a late arrival, we would book a pitch elsewhere to suit our needs.

Sorry Haggis123 your posts are often just a series of wind-ups and insults, bordering on trolling.

I'm closing this discussion and asking the Community Manager to review.
