Hi Just realized we are at Rowntree park on launch date for next years bookings. Is wifi okay on this site?

We were at Rowntree in March for two weeks and found WiFi variable depending on site occupancy and time of day. There were times when it was better to use BT WiFi hotspots in town or roaming on the phone. Since the site will almost certainly be full and
a lot of others on site will also be trying to make bookings you may have a problem.

If you want an up to date view on WiFi read  Rowntree park site review form Vandj dated 08-11-2016. He obviously had some difficulty.

Just returned from three nights at Rowntree and the wifi is average at best, after 6pm it is non existence. Wouldn't want to rely on it on booking day if there are dates you really need.

The wifi here is probably like most CC sites.......barely acceptable.

In fairness to the CC that's probably because people try to over-use the system by streaming. It's only meant to be for checking emails and a bit of internet surfing.

On the plus side......you can get 4G there on a good day (it's right on the edge) but you can usually get a reasonable 3G signal (on Three Mobile, at least).

Don't bother with the CC wifi here, unless you already have a years subscription and want to give it a go.

Not really......you definitely can sometimes get 4G and you do get a pretty good 3G signal.

I suppose I am making the assumption that everyones uses a network as good as Three though.....

Write your comments here...I was meaning the allegation it's caused by streaming as opposed to just not a good enough wifi , who knows

SadThanks everyone for your replies. Now left wondering what to do as Grandchildren have been promised Longleat in August and Southport airshow
    is a must.

at the end of the day, if demand outstrips supply, then the customers will see a poor service...
