Basically, it is a card on which you can load the cheques, there are actually 2: Gold and Silver.  More info

We have the silver card, we can load it at anytime with as many as we need/want. Sometimes the Club run promotions on some of  the ferries where you can add camping cheques to your ferry booking and it give a good discount on the ferry. Best to talk to an
agent though to get the best deal.

Camping cheques are a way of paying in advance for a site night, it gives you a pitch, 2 adults, car/caravan/awning or motorhome and electricity for £14.95, you can have paper cheques or load them onto a Silver or Gold card they are valid for 2 years.

Ken and Lorn, But currently there are only 13 sites in U.K. which accept Camping Cheques - whether they be paper cheques or loaded electronically  on a gold or silver card. More useful if you are going overseas.
