If the warden puts a sign outside the office saying
Depts at ......
. . . it will be seen only by those who (1) go past the office and (2) look at it.
not quite, everyone should assume its 12 anyway, you would only notice it if you were going to ask to stay longer (as laid down in the rules)

We're talking caravans here, not a low-loader with heavy industrial plant.
Good try Nicki, but I fear you and many others at "Head Office" don't know what it is like to manoeuver a caravan. A low loader with heavy plant may be much heavier than a caravan but not necessarily all that much larger.
I don't take Nikki's comment re manoeurvring an outfit, just about leaving the site at O crack sparrow fart and earlier

Yes, they do like to lay down the law for new arrivals, but doing to for late departers would mean leaving the office or getting off their tractor.
So they write a note on their blackboard.......
.As usual a post with no evidence or ideas to back up the usual knock the wardens for what ever thay do

Hello everyone and thank you for your comments.
MollysMummy, you are correct that I made no comment about manoeurvring an outfit. Thanks for pointing that out.
The sites I was referring to are Black Horse Farm and Rookesbury Park.
Both these sites are local to ferry ports and because of that, the usual arrival and departure rules are different.
I hope you have all had a lovely Summer and many happy days touring.
