After all the recent discussions about lack of availability on club sites and alleged "mass" bookings by some members it is interesting to see that even though next winters bookings opened at 9.00am today over two hours later I checked some of the most popular
sites such as Rowntree Park, Baltic Wharf and Chatsworth and there were no days fully booked. I know winter caravanning does not suit  everybody but I have spoken to a lot of members on site who when I mention our visits to these sites will insist that they
can never book them for any dates.

Yes I have made my bookings but only for a total of three weeks.

I hadn't relaised winter bookings opened today, perhaps it is the same for others? I really don't know why the Club has these release dates at all?

I looked at Baltic Wharf but bookings don't appear to be open yet, presumably due to the rolling three month lease. Now that Bristol City Council have announced they are yet again strapped for cash I hope they'll keep their paws off Baltic Wharf ?! Frown

Why wold anyone book in winter in advance, the sites are empty. We went last Jan to Lady Margarets, of the 100 pitches 7 were occuied during the stay. Much btter options on the private/commercial sites and we used them exclusively through to June. Dnt suppost
the CC have made the prices any more attractive for 2017

Have another look at Baltic Wharf the first part on the booking site is "grass" pitches which I do not think exist. Scroll down to hardstanding pitches and you should be able to book.
