Does anyone only use CL's, avoiding main sites?

It's quite some time now since I used a main site, probably about 3 years. The simple reason is the poor behaviour and attitudes of some wardens.
One time I was remonstrated with in reception in front of several people by a warden because I was late, despite the fact I'd said I'd be late when I telephoned. He banged on for 5 full minutes. The same warden later made some awful rude and sexist comments about other members.
Another warden said he had seen me parked overnight on a public road a week earlier and used the site CCTV to get my reg and had used the computer to get my details and could see I wasn't booked in that night. So he was asking why I had parked there. I told him it was nothing which we needed to discuss to which he replied "You might put people off coming here parking on the main road with a dirty van."
There's been other instances too and I have complained to the club who appeared utterly uninterested. On one occasion I actually wrote a real letter of complaint about a warden, because my prior email complaint had had no reply, and guess what? No reply to my letter.
I'm in a Facebook group and it's surprising just how many people have awful stories to tell about site wardens, which is a shame as I am sure there are some very good, hard working ones.
Anyway, after the last debacle I decided to never use main sites again and I did consider leaving the club but I stayed because 99% of the CL owners are decent, approachable, pleasant people. (99% that is of the 40% that I use because they have fair rates, instead of charging the earth for very little.)
I wondered if others in here had had similar experiences with wardens and why the CC does not act on complaints?

No I have had no similar experiences. I am not sure if your post is for real, or simply to try and stir up trouble. Why wait several years to make it?

I am sure that there must be some abysmal and unpleasant wardens!! It is simply that I have yet to meet one. ROFL

The original poster really has a mega chip on his shoulder. We have never come across such an attitude by wardens of the commercial organisation we be long to,  sorry but it is no longer a club.

i hope the warder that he  got upset with reports him, and he is banned from the commercial organisation that we belong to!

Seems well balanced to me. Maybe a chip on each shoulder?

We have encountered one or two not so nice wardens and of course there are varying levels of friendliness and efficiency but in the main they do the job they are there to do which is all that is needed.  Our car and van are rarely clean and no warden has
    ever made comment.

If the OP was safely parked on a public road and the wardens admitted using site CCTV to obtain their reg and run it through the CC system I would be surprised if the CC wasnt interested as it would surely be misuse of the system contravening the Data Protection
    Act?

I wonder if the OP has found out yet that some CL owners can be equally, if not more, unfriendly and you have no recourse if they are because it is their land to do as they like with.

Seems like a load of Tom Walls to me and a tad unlikely.

As there seems little point in this thread, I'm suspending it and will ask the Community Manager if she wishes it to be re-opened or remain closed.
