I've a small inflatable boat and I'm looking for a site that has a slipway. I know there is one at Oban but I'm not aware of any other club sites that has one.  Can anyone help?

We have launched a small inflatable at North Ledaig (as you say), Bunree, New England Bay, Garlieston (it's next door) & Carradale Bay......

Other than Garlieston, I wouldn't call them slipways as such but launching a small boat off the beach is do-able...

Only stayed once, so can't recall if launching is possible, but perhaps White House Beach? Might be worth contacting Wardens. Will depend on tides as well.

There is also a CL at Durham Rowing Club which obviously has access to the river. I understand it has showers and toilets available so might suit you.

You can get down to a launch site  from Coniston but a walk if you are pitched near the top.

Surely we need to know what area(s) of the country you are interested in?  You only mention that 'Oban has one' ... so does that mean in that general area? Does it have to be a CC site?

Wirral Country Park has a sailing club right next door and a slipway.

Unfortunately this is a council owned 'restricted slipway'. As such it can only be used by permit holders who are either members of the Dee Sailing Club, those who are commercially  fishing or those accessing moorings.

Not been to Coniston for a while but you used to be able to tow a boat/trailer down to the bottom gate, park there and then carry your boat through Coniston Hall Camping Site to the water's edge.

As the op (Ealingbob) hasn't acknowledged any of the replies that people have taken the trouble to provide, and nor has he bothered to reply to the question asking about what area he's interested in, I feel that we are wasting our time replying, folks.

Maybe not wasting time - as those who might search for the same info could find this thread.
