CADW touring

When touring the UK we have based routes using National Trust and English Heritage places to visit and found this very worthwhile.  We wanted to do the same in Wales but have found that many of the CADW properties we have looked at have little or no parking
(perhaps 2-3 cars) or use nearby council pay & display ( which I assume have car sized bays).  Our motorhome is not huge (6.4m) but will not fit in a standard bay – sometimes we can overhang the back if we can get an edge place.  Its looking like we cannot
do this tour as hoped.  Does anyone have advice for seeing Wales in a motorhome?

We are Cadw members. You will need to check out each location, much as you would with EH and Historic Scotland, as some of sites are in remote locations. Big ones such as Caernarvon, Harlech, etc... You will have no problems finding parking. Just do a bit of research prior to visiting, regarding access route and parking as close as you need and you will be fine!

edit: dont make the mistake of assuming all car parks have small spaces. A lot of places now have car parks that have dedicated minibus and MH spaces, it is the height barriers you need to watch out for! We find googling the local area will show best places to park with MH, including in cities. Not had a problem yet, so hope you find things the same.
