I don't see what is wrong with my post that prompted a "play nicely" comment, followed by a message from the forum administrator.

Before I get banned, could anyone please tell me what is wrong with this:-

"At least flags move about a bit!

P.S.   It's not the Union flag that I fly."

I don't see anything wrong, Nav. Perhaps the rap over the knuckles in the classroom referred to another post but it should have been made clear.

I think I may drift away from CT again.

agree with you on both points, from a classroom management point of view blanket pronouncements like this simply don't work, quiet individual or named comments work far better.

Hi all, just making sure we all have a lovely and harmonious time on Club Together. Sealed

I've no wish to be rude, JW, but comments that treat us like children are going to get peoples' backs up. With respect, you have a knack of picking on the wrong posts.

If I may make a suggestion, JW, I think your interjections could benefit from recognising your target audience is, in the main, two to three times your age with a vast wealth of life experience to call on. Your interjections would also be far more effective
if placed in or below the posts to which they refer. There is more I could say but will refrain from doing do on the public platform. My aim is to assist, not to knock, and I'd be happy to continue the discussion by email if you choose.

Nope. I've given you suggestions and pointers via posts and reports. I don't want or need to discuss how you can improve the way you run CT but am willing to give you my point of view if requested. If you want to hear more the ball is in your court.

but putting in your comments a number of posts after the
    heated
posts achieves nothing, the person who it is aimed at doesn't know it is aimed at them and the person before your post will think that it's them.

My flag is nothing to do with in/ex clusion (are we allowed to mention that again?) but my Norse origins. Not even in the EU they are.  Look out for it!

Oh dear this petty business is still going on. I saw a blank page in this thread this morning and hoped it was here to stay. Bring it back please Johnathon, or tell me how to do it. Thanks.

Just come back from a weekend at the Battle site ,we booked a non-awning pitch and have a M/H , when we booked in I asked the warden if a M/H can use a sun canopy , and was told in no unsertain terms that the answer is NO ,that is why you booked a non-awning
pitch , it wasent a problem for us ,we only want to try it out ,but we can wait till our next outing

Unless there is some reason for a different rule at that site, Husky, the warden is definitely incorrect.

Glad you enjoyed your MH, Husky. It might be interesting to hear what EGT say about the sun canopy question at Battle. There again, life's too short for unwanted aggro.

At the end of the day what the warden says on the site you are at is what happens - look at how many people are told to back to the peg and not allowed to nose in on selected sites, even though EG have clearly stated its ok.  Wardens are all powerful - for
good or bad - if you are on 'their' site.
