East Fleet Farm
Hi, Me and the family are travelling to East fleet farm for summer hols in july, we have never been before and looking for the best route from leeds, the route planner suggest s M1, M42 then junc 25 from the M5, I have looked at a map and was wondering if M5, M4, M32 then A37 is a shorter route or is the A37 not so caravan friendly, Thanks.
PS either way looking forward to our trip and East Fleet, reviews look really good.

Hi, I used to live in Somerset and know the Weymouth area well, my suggestion is to do M5 then come off at J25 Then onto A358 follow this road until roundabout left turning onto A303 follow this road for 16 miles then turn right on roundabout onto A3088
towards Yeovil this road is an old railway interesting road turn right at next two roundabouts then left onto A30 then right at roundabout onto A37 all the way to Dorchester follow Dorchester bypass and signs to Weymouth then follow directions from the club's
site page on the website. Enjoy your holiday and hope this helps.0 -
We did a quick recce of East Fleet Farm at the weekend (we were staying at Higher Moor Farm around 5 miles away).
The road is reasonable. At the start (as you go through the traffic lights from Chickerell Road) it`s residential with a couple of speed humps. We had no van with us but had to pull over (due to parked cars) to let a car through. The rest of the road is
OK if a little steep at the lower end. I doubt if you`d get two vans to pass without a struggle though....0
