My wife and I are going to Cheddar c.c. site in 3 weeks and was wondering if you knew of any good eateries as it's Yvonne,s birthday whilst we are there .Thanks

    The place is commercialised in part - overly so, in my opinion. There are a lot of touristy eateries but none I've felt inclined to try. Sorry I can't be of help.

    Same as TW we never fancied any of the eateries around there. I nfact it was one of the most dissapointing plaves we have been.

    Perhaps go into Bristol? Ladies of a certain age like afternoon tea at Harvey Nicks. Dress up.

    Or head off to Wells, lovely City( but not a city just a lovely little town). Recommend a visit to the cathedral, so interesting. A lovely day out and nice places to eat.
