Information required please - Esholt Sport & Leisure Caravan Site

I'm a member of a small caravan club which visits a number of areas throughout the year. We are all C/C members, however on accasion we visit small private sites that come vis members recomendation. One such site that has been put forward for consideration
in this years busy programe, is Esholt Sport and Leisure. Caravan Site. Esholt. Bradford. W Yorks.

Now being a Bradford lad in exile, I'm aware of Esholts Emmerdale Farm connections etc. However, one fact that not many of our members know about, is the Bradford City Corporation Water Treatment Works, in the same valley.

Is there anybody out there who has taken advantage of this site recently and does the latter have any effect on a warm sunny day in early July which could put us off a pint of Yorkshire bitter and a cucumber sandwich, Comments! I have read some reviews but
they are dated. Many Thanks.

    A friend lives next door to our towns sewage works and they smell something once or twice a year.

    We live about 100mtrs away and have never smelt anything in 30 years!

     Don't know if Yorkshire sewage farms are different????LaughingWinking

    Thanks for your reply EJB. Our sewage farms are different like the County they'r just that bit larger. Only difference is they dont smell of roses. You may get that in Harrogate and certain parts of Leeds!  No offence intended or implied Harrogate or certain
    parts of Leeds!

    Going up to Bingley Five Rise Locks in a couple od weeks, Ill pop in to Esholt and have a nosey. We can always knock the cucumber sarnies on the head or tell those attending that its countryside air.
