I am considering a trip to Denmark this year, and was wondering if anyone could advice me on any breakdown services that cover older vans (2008) for Europe.

    The usual comparison sites - such as Go Compare and their various competitors - might be helpful to you . Put your details into their questionnaires and see what they offer. Watch their size and weight limits for your particular motorhome if it’s a biggie .
