Probably best to email and ask the sites what EHU sockets they have. However, the majority have the same type as UK sites and only rarely the French two pin variety, for which an adaptor lead can be obtained at a camping supply store or Amazon / eBay. The polarity may also be reversed and you may like to consider a polarity checker and converter lead. You can make one of these up yourself if you have a spare socket and plug, plus a bit of EHU cable, or buy one ready made. Over the years there has been much debate on CT over whether this is necessary. You will have to make your own decision. As far as tap connectors are concerned if the connection is threaded as on MH service points and service pitches they have always been the same as on UK service points / pitches. Although a lot of French site taps, for filling kettles / containers have no means of connection and are the push variety.

Your UK mains hook up lead should be fine, but we always carry the short conversion lead to 2 pins. We have needed this probably 5 or 6 times in 20 years. You will also usually be limited to 10amp supply, sometimes 6amp. The posts are also sometimes some distance from your pitch so we take a 40m lead. We have noticed sites will often have suitable leads if you have a problem

I'm guessing you are thinking of directly connecting up to a water tap. Unless your campsite specifically says serviced pitches then this facility would be very unusual as taps are usually shared/communal. On the bright side you will probably end up you with a bar, restaurant, shop, fresh bread daily, pool, larger shower block, good sized pitches etc, so you should be happy.
