Looking for winter stop overs for caravan near Zaragoza or south on A23

Only place found so far open in February is at Navajas on the A23. Unless you stay 7 nights they charge 5.45 euro each adult extra. So 31 euros for night a bit steep😒

Any ideas?

There is a Municipal campsite at Zaragoza which is open all year. The nightly rate often seems rather expensive, but with fewer sites open at that time of year you pay for the convenience.

Navajas is about another 2½ hours further on, and if you mean Camping Altomira, the ACSI card is usually accepted. It’s €23 a night this year. But I suppose it’s worth buying the card only if you are likely to use it for more than one night.

Thanks and yes sites seem expensive.

Well Zaragoza is. But not the other I mentioned with the ACSI card rate. And once you reach the coast, sites are remarkably good value as there are long stay rates and / or the ACSI card rate, depending on the sites used.

We mix booking ahead with moving around without booking. We reserve a pitch on one very popular site, usually while we are staying there for the following winter. It’s around £25 per night next winter. Probably cheaper for longer stays.
We use the ACSI card at another favourite place and don’t book. Just €25 a night in 2025. No rates yet for next year.
Given the quality of both those sites, and the locations, those prices, we think, represent excellent value.

Yes we normally don't book and use ACSI a few days before moving to see if there is availability. problem this time is Winter with few sites open when travelling a long way during the day so need to book ahead.

We don't book over night stops, even in January.
Early Tunnel crossing: near Poitiers; Urrugne (ACSI); Zaragoza; destination.
Depending on timing, we sometimes bypass Zaragoza and reach Navajas or even the coast.
