Google says Istria has typical range for September from low of 10c to high of 23c and 7 days of rain in the month. Much more detail on line.

Yeah thanks did look at google, but I was hoping for some first hand experience from folks that have been there at the time of year I was asking about.

    Cheers

You mean you want someone on here to give you a weather forecast for Croatia two months ahead , based on what the weather was like in September several years ago when somebody else was there ? . Seems a big ask .
Just take the weather as it comes when you get there. You can’t change it. Have a good trip.

I thought that perhaps there may have been some regulars on here that went regularly and could give me a feel for the weather, don't think it was that big an ask considering this is a camping forum, if you have not had any experience of Croatia then there was no need to reply to my post.

I think your best bet really is to look online. I could give someone a run down of our long June holidays over twenty years in Cornwall, and know that for someone else it will have been totally different. Online research will give you mean averages based on proper metrological data rather than a single person’s memories. Europe’s weather patterns have been more extreme these last few years anyway, we had 32c for a week and had no rain for two months here in South Yorkshire🤷‍♀️

I agree with @Takethedogalong best look on line but if its any help, I have been there in August and found it much hotter and drier than May June. I would expect it to be cooling off through September.

    Hi Keith,

I haven't camped, or travelled with an outfit to Croatia, but I have worked with the destination for a number of years. Obviously there's no guarantee on the weather at any time of the year, but Croatia does tend to see enjoyable climates between May - September. In the travel industry, September would still be considered a popular month to travel to Croatia. In fact, we operate our Escorted Tour to Slovenia and Croatia from the 1st September. Either side of May and September you may experience more unpredictable weather and some places may begin to close either side of the season. Hope that helps! It's definitely a beautiful country and one I'd recommend visiting.

    All the best,

    Ben

Hi Ben thanks for the reply, that's the kind of reply I was looking for and not a weather forecast, which as we all know is not that reliable.
