When do booking open for 2026 winter season?

I'm interested in booking a long winter break in Spain. ATM the sites show 'full' even the ones supposedly open all year. Does anyone know when they open bookings?

Why not e-mail the sites you are interested in and ask them directly?

AS far as I am aware, if you are booking direct you can book at any time of the year for the following year. They may well be booked up, overwintering in Spain is very popular and many book year after year. I would have thought the C&mC would be open now for bookings for its winter sites?

And the timetable for winter ferries from Portsmouth to Spain is normally published early in July. The ferry company will give you the exact date.

As stated above Winter hosted holidays can be booked from 1/7…but you need to be quick as so many regulars book up as soon as online/ phone bookings open at 8.45. If ferry crossing not let available these can be added later on. Getting a pitch is the main thing to do.

Thanks for your warning - though it does remind me of ordering things from Amazon and they say “ Only 2 left “ - even when they have dozens.

There are sites in Spain, which are open in Winter, other than those offered by the Club. You could book directly with a site, or you could even consider not booking and just turning up at sites which appeal to you.

Thanks for your comments. Not really worried about booking sites but besides Brittany Ferries the others from Dover and Newhaven seem to release next years dates s late as October. Will just have to roll with it.

Turning up on spec at a site in Spain in the winter months, especially on the coast was fine 10 years ago but very unwise now. There has been a huge increase in demand and most sites now are pretty much full.

@peedee Yes, I agree for the well-known popular sites such as Bonterra Park. We book ahead for that one. There are though 2 others in the same town which usually have pitches available. And there are some in that area where we generally just turn up, or maybe ring ahead by a few days – at Alcossebre and Peñíscola for example. In a completely different direction, some around Conil de la Frontera usually have space. I dislike being tied down too much.

Newhaven Dieppe is now released on line but not via the Club yet! DFDS said not until October but having just checked on line again I have just booked for £88.50 car +2 adults +caravan on a Sunday.😁
