Recommendations for Paris.

I haven’t been, but people tell me that the Paris Est site is greatly improved under new ownership in the last couple of years - still noisy and not perfect, but far better than the pre 2024 days when it got absolutely frightful reviews . With a bus at the gate and Ubers cruising by the access from the site to the city is very easy,

We stayed recently at Camping de Paris in the Bois de Boulogne. Noisy, if you get a pitch close to the road. Pitches can be cramped, ours wasn’t. Very expensive, but of course it’s Paris. Very good facilities, shop selling bread plus other essentials, bar, restaurant. Shuttle bus from the entrance to the metro 2€. Or other buses nearby , which we preferred. The site is now very large (it wasn’t last time we visited 36 Years ago 😂), this time our pitch was half a mile from the entrance. You can book to avoid a wasted journey into Paris, but again they milk the Paris factor with a 25€ charge. Overall I would say a good site for visiting Paris and would use again.
We went specifically to visit the refurbished Notre Dame. It is well worth the the queue to get in. Trying to book a timed ticket on the website proved impossible.
