Well yes, there’s a lot of specific things you need to know. Have you read all the Club advice for first time visits overseas?
Take care. I hope your tour goes well.

Can you be a bit more specific where in Holland and Germany you intend to go and when? If you want to enter many larger towns in Germany with the motorhome you will need an emissions sticker which you can order in advance by post or at pretty well any car dealer after arrival in the country upon presentation of your V5c. Otherwise, there's not much to watch out for. Just don't attempt to tow a car behind the motorhome using an A-frame. You could run into trouble with the police.

Beware of cycle friendly roundabouts in the Netherlands. The cyclist has priority so may assume you are going to stop for them. Not all roundabouts are like this but away from major roads they tend to be. Cycling is king over there. They have more bikes than people.

Again, away from the main roads the roads themselves can become narrower, space being at a premium in built up areas but you should find the state of roads in NL to be excellent, a pleasure to drive, and cycle, on.

In both countries the Aires and parking areas become full of lorries as, with some exceptions, they are banned from driving on that day so if you intend staying for any length of time on one on a Sunday you may have a problem.

    Enjoy your trip.
